i had no idea that poop was so difficult to scoop...

This is the aerosol can ($9.95 plus S&H) that you bring with you while you walk your dog, just in case he poops. When he does poop, you spray the poop-freeze onto the poop, wait 10 seconds for it to form a crusty white film which solidifies the poop. Then pick up. Does this strike anybody else as preposterous? The only situation i can see this being helpful with is if your dog has chronic liquid diarrhea and you can't physically pick it up due to the fact that it's liquid. Here's what the company says about it's product:

"• Completely Non-flammable
• Cools surfaces down to –62° F
• No CFC’s to destroy the ozone
• Does not harm vegetation
• Can be used indoors or outdoors
• Totally environmentally friendly"
Just out of curiosity I downloaded their material safety data sheet that's linked to their site. What could be in this aerosol can that freezes poop but is still safe when exposed to animals, vegetation and can be used inside your house?
Well, even though the description says it's "completely non-flammable", the data sheet says this;
"UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Although aerosols are classified as nonflammable by 16CFR1500.3(c)(6) of the Federal Hazardous Substance Act, C.P.S.C. Regs, AND THEREFORE SHOULD NOT BE USED OR STORED NEAR ANY OPEN FLAMES OR IGNITION SOURCES. Contents under pressure. Keep temperature of containers below 120 deg. f. TO PREVENT BURSTING. Exposure to temperature above 120 deg. F. MAY CAUSE CAN TO BURST WITH VIOLENCE AND CAUSE INJURY.
And the whole thing about being able to use it inside the house is squashed by this section of the safety data document;
"EYE CONTACT: Liquid contact can cause FROSTBITE; SKIN CONTACT: Liquid contact can cause frostbite; INHALATION: Vapor is heavier than air and can cause SUFFOCATION BY REDUCING OXYGEN AVAILABLE FOR BREATHING. Breathing high concentrations of vapor may cause lightheadedness, giddiness, shortness of breath, and may lead to Narcosis, cardiac irregularities, unconsciousness or death.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Lined butyl gloves should be worn when handling liquid. EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses or goggles should be worn when handling liquid. "
So, yeah. You can draw your own conclusion about this stuff. I feel like the great overthrower with this one, but I'm not buying it. Even if they do offer the poop-freeze holster for $14.95.

Only my opinion....
