Catalog Review- "in the company of dogs"

This catalog is definitely worth a visit to the site to request it. It's well done (layout & photos) and the products are swanky. They've got the whole William Wegman line of dog things, funny dog art and cutesy dog clothes, among other things. A little on the pricey side as far as I'm concerned (around $70 for the quilted vest below), but worth a gander. And if you feel like how I feel about catalogs, this
one's a keeper. This one gets a 4 Hank heads rating. Click on the Hank heads to find out how I rate stuff. Request a catalog here.

And, perhaps the most compelling reason to git yerself a catalog from this company is this:

boston-terrier-challenge.com. dog toy testers, at your service...

The sister site of littlebeasts.com , two destructive bostons test dog toys to see if they're even worth walking into the store for. The best photos and captions there ever were. One of my favoritest websites in the world.

catalog review- "the dog's outfitter"

click for rating system

Here's a catalog that sells just about everything you'd think a pet catalog should. I love the company because they are one of the few who sell check chokes at a very reasonable price. I'm all about catalog shopping vs. going to the pet store, any day and every day. I give this one a 3 and a half Hank heads rating, but it's too hard to post that visually, so I'll make this one rare exception and give it a 4 hank heads rating.

They sell these for about $5.

And the much-loved Lambert Kay Fresh n' Clean shampoo and conditioner for $3.50

And a nice striped turtleneck for under $6.00.

peaceful looking toys and beds and such..

Here are some nice and holistic toys, beds, and other stuff. I'm all for any company who redesigns the world's idea of a squeaky toy. I'm partial to the bamboo stalk toy for some reason. Just don't give these toys to a massive chewer because I doubt they'd stand the test of the monster-destructo-teeth kinds of dogs.

ohmigosh beautiful dogthings

I usually don't get too excited over dog toys because there are generally very few things that are so dead-on great, that I become instantly obsessed with. That being said, here's a dead-on great company who designs dog things like revolutionary tug toys (why haven't any other companies thought about making things LOOK NICE for the humans who are buying them??) and the food dish I drool over. If anyone finds any other sites like this, please contact me with a link. I'm starving for art within the realm of dog.
